Starting a fire can't be much easier and safer than when using a Fire Tinder Sheet with your Field Feather Knife, Firebiner, or any of our other fire-starting products. These Fire Sheets are made from wax-coated cotton. They are easy to light and stay lit for up to 5 minutes. These Fire Sheets fit perfectly inside the Field Feather Knife replacement blade storage box. 10 pieces per pack.
For best results, tear the sheet and gently pull apart to expose the cotton fibers. Throw a spark and let it burn.
Pro tip: when starting a campfire, collect your firewood in advance. Make a teepee or wood-cabin form with your dry tinder, with some shavings or smaller tinder on the inside/bottom. Put your lit Fire Tab inside the tinder structure to get your fire started.
